    Default Ruger 10/22

    I am looking to buying a Ruger 10/22 rifle and would like any feedbacks on this rifle.

    Owned mine for 18 years have done various modifications to it, fun to shoot, can happily plink all day with it. Lots of aftermarket mods for em.

    10/22 ruger is nice and I own S&W 22A-1 .5'5" barrel. its nice too.

    Don't think I've ever heard a negative on the 10/22.
    Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children what it was once like in the United States when men were free.

    I am going to buy my ruger 10/22 this saturday and rub it off people by saying it is made in AZ. LOL

    I like it, and what ever you do if/when you modify it, never give away the stock retaining bolt...............

    It's a bit late, but for future reference, I have no complaints about my Ruger 10/22. Only thing I'd say is be careful with aftermarket mags. The one I got (Butler Creek IIRC) is a POS. Problems with feeding. The Ruger 10 round magazine that it came with has been 100% perfect.

    I have had my Dad's 10/22 for several years, I couldn't be happier with the worksmanship or accuracy. If one ever acts up, take it apart and clean it, about all that is needed. All kinds of stuff on the market to upgrade it to this and that but they are terrific just out of the box as manufactured. And yes, some aftermarket magazines are junk.
