    Default Scopes

OK folks for years I've use Tasco scopes when I needed a scope and have always had great luck with them.
I have a 3x9x33 that 20 years old and has been beat and banged and never gave an issue.
I need a long eye relief scope good out to 100 - 150 yards
Price is very important - any suggestions????

What are you putting it on Mo? Do you need a handgun or a scout scope?

The Mosin will require a pistol style with long eye relief.

    I found a
Long Eye Relief scope 2-7x32 variable power by Leaper - 5th gen.
I have never heard of this company.

Can't find much info on Leapers either.

I don't want to drill the receiver or cut the bolt handle off and re weld.
Lucky for me it was a nice rifle - all numbers matched so I don't want to alter the gun.
I don't want to tie up a ton of money on a $100.00 gun just something that will reach out to 100 - 150 yards.

I can get a base that goes where the rear site goes and not alter the gun thus the use of a long eye relief scope.

The Mauser is not as big a problem finding bases and scopes.
From what I have learned very common style base and scope combos out there.

Just looking for ideas for a cheap set up.
It will be a range gun.

Mo, a pistol scope has eye relief that is too long to mount on that gun. A pistol scopes eye relief is set for about arms length, where you hold a pistol. Unless you are going to mount it near the muzzle, that is too much.

A scout scope may be what you are looking for. They usually have about 8"-10" of eye relief I am guessing.

Do a search for scout scopes and check out their eye relief. Be sure to read the reviews also before you order anything.
