Safety is rule number one at any meet.
If you are new to guns, need extra assistance, have any questions, etc., it is very important that you ask for help. TGO has the friendliest, and most helpful, group of shooters you'll ever meet, we'll be more than happy to give you a hand.
General Rules
Rule #1 The Gun Is Always Loaded!
Rule #2 Never Point The Gun At Something You Are Not Prepared To Destroy!
Rule #3 Always Be Sure Of Your Target And What Is Behind It!
Rule #4 Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Your Sights Are On The Target!
Rule #5 ABSOLULTELY NO HANDLING of guns, ammo, gear, or standing near benches when range is cold.
Austin Area Shoots are on the third Saturday of the month. Shooting starts @ 10am and ends around noon. BBQ lunch in Lockhart.
We will meet at the rifle range. Look for the flying TGO flags and white Ford dually with the over-sized Benelli sticker on the back.

Lone Star has a 100yd. rifle range, and 2 pistol ranges. Targets and shooting supplies are available at the range house. Lone Star is located North of Lockhart, Texas just off of Hwy. 183.
